Refund Policy for Small Wood Designs

At Small Wood Designs, we take pride in crafting high-quality, handmade wood decor items. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not fully happy, please review our refund policy below:

Returns

    •    Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.

    •    Timeframe: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

    •    Non-Returnable Items: Custom or personalized orders, sale items, and gift cards cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.

 

Damaged or Defective Items

    •    If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will request photos of the damage or defect and, based on the assessment, offer a replacement or full refund.

 

Refunds

    •    Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

    •    Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

 

Exchanges

    •    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at smallwooddesigns@gmail.com

 

How to Request a Return or Refund

    •    To initiate a return or report an issue with your order, please contact us at smallwooddesigns@gmail.com with your order number and details about the product you wish to return or exchange. We will guide you through the process.

Processing Time

All items are made to order. Please allow 5–10 business days for your order to be created and prepared for shipment. Processing times may vary during busy seasons, holidays, or sales.

 

Shipping Time & Rates

Shipping times vary based on your location and selected shipping method at checkout. Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days after shipment.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Local Pickup / Delivery (if applicable)

Local pickup is available for customers in the Western New York area. You will be contacted when your order is ready for pickup.

We may also offer local delivery for a small fee—this option will appear at checkout if available.

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package every step of the way.

 

Delays

While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Damaged or Lost Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can make it right.

If your package is lost in transit, please reach out and we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
